Sokhey is the stage name of an Indian Punjabi music artist born on 3 September 1997 in Talwara Township, Hoshiarpur, Punjab. As the founder and creative director of Sokhey Studio, he operates as a self-sufficient recording artist, songwriter, lyricist, composer, and audio engineer — writing, producing, mixing, and mastering all of his releases independently.

His musical identity is built on a singular fusion: traditional Punjabi vocal melodies layered over contemporary R&B bass lines, synthwave textures, and pop-rock instrumentation. His 2025 debut EP 'Despair' — featuring tracks Laare, Lifeless, Fond Memories (feat. Babbal Saggu), and Adhure Geet — crystallised this sound and drew critical appreciation across streaming platforms, amassing over 87,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. Beyond his solo releases, Sokhey is an active collaborator and producer for other Punjabi artists, working with Babbal Saggu, Raahi Rana, Paaras, Vinder Nathu Majra, Shera, G Noor, Gurjit Bawa, and others.
